2012 Review

2012 was a blast!  I managed to cover 1,703 miles, mainly running with a bit of cycling & mountain biking thrown in to the mix.  

My achievements in 2012:

  • weight down from 16 stone 1 lb to 14 stone 7 lbs
  • reduced BMI from over 30 to 27
  • completed 3 half marathons
  • bought myself a mountain bike
  • started to understand what food (fuel) my body needs

An excellent year I'm sure you'll agree. I couldn't be more pleased with the progress....but enough of looking backwards, it's time to look to the future. 

I've got some insane challenges planned for 2013:

  • my first marathon
  • my first ultra marathon
  • my first 50+ mile mountain bike adventure

Oh and we're moving to the Brecon Beacons so I've got some vertical climb on my hands with pretty much anything I do now.  Fun fun fun!!!

The first challenge of 2013 will be the infamous Fan Dance race on January and photos available soon afterwards.
